Building capacity and window of tolerance. 
Nervous system regulation - it's a lifestyle and a way of being. 
sun, water, rest, air, exercise, diet. And connection (social aspect of our nature). 


Moving from survival to safety, play/creativity. 
Survival stress and how it hinders life force energy. 
Four F's 

Polyvagal - sympathetic activation 'go' mode. Flight and Flight - hyperarousal.
Parasympathetic - dorsal vagal =  freeze (high tone dorsal, defensive immobilisation, hypoarousal when feeling unsafe and overwhelmed, numbing out and/or shutting down. ), and rest/digest (low tone dorsal, functional immobilisation when feeling safe and content); ventral vagal = supports social engagement, when feeling safe and content. 
 
3 energy centers - heart, mind, belly. 
Belly (instinctive)- underlying emotion = anger. needs movement and body awareness. 
Heart (feeling) - shame. needs connection, contribution, recognition, and to be understood. 
Mind - (thinking) Fear. Wants to minimise anxiety and uncertainty by  obtain knowledge, certainty and security. But needs to reduce mental chatter and works towards stillness, presence, acceptance, and inner security. 

Root - safety (belly)
Sacral - play & creativity, joy & pleasure (belly)
Solar Plexus - Discipline and selfhood (belly)
Heart - Compassion & connection (heart)
Throat - Authentic expression (mind and body)
Inner Eye - clear perception and wisdom (mind and heart)
Crown - Transcendence. (mind, heart, body coherence)

Go and Flow mode. Beta and alpha states - planning/working and presence, creativity.
